Luxury camping holiday on the Costa Brava
The lovely Talaia Plaza Ecoresort campsite is on the Spanish Costa Brava, not far from the city of Gerona. Surrounded by a pine forest and only 400 metres from the Mediterranean Sea, here you can enjoy a relaxing holiday. Take a refreshing swim in the sea or the swimming pool. Or pamper yourself with a wonderful relaxing massage. Talaia Plaza Ecoresort is an excellent choice if you want a sustainable stay. All accommodation at the park are made with sustainable, ecological materials.
Bubbling in the Jacuzzi
You get that real ‘luxury feeling’ at Talaia Plaza Ecoresort. Not only does the park look lovely and luxurious, but you can also get spoilt to the full here. You can, for example, go for a swim in the lovely swimming pool and then relax on one of the sun loungers. By the swimming pool there is a shallow section for children. Or how about a Finnish sauna and a Jacuzzi, with its view of the sea. A nice relaxing massage is also one of the options. If you’d rather take your towel to the beach, the clear bay of Sa Riera is within walking distance from the campsite. Now that’s what I call a holiday!
Culinary enjoyment with a view
You can simply stay at the campsite for a lovely evening of dining. There is a stylish restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Mediterranean dishes, such as paella, meat or fish. All the dishes are made with local produce. From the restaurant’s patio, you have lovely views of the hills and the Mediterranean Sea. You will find a pool bar by the pool, where you can order a tasty cocktail after a refreshing swim. If you’d like some homemade pizza, you can order that from the food truck. A fun fact: the campsite has its own kitchen garden, with seasonal vegetables and herbs which are served to the guests.
Go out and about in Costa Brava
This beautiful Spanish region has much to offer: delicious food, stunning beaches and plenty of culture. The village of Begur is close by. It has a small centre but is well worth visiting. There is a weekly market on the central square. You will also see many colonial houses in the village. Begur has no fewer than eight bays – including Sa Riera – each with their own characteristics and beauty. If you would like a day of culture, go to Gerona or bustling Barcelona. If you like walking, there is a long 500-kilometre walking route along the entire Costa Brava called the Cami de Ronda. You can of course also walk part of this route and explore the lovely countryside and coastline.
Day out at the amusement park
Near Talaia Plaza Ecoresort campsite, you will find several amusement and water parks. At just under an hour’s drive near Lloret de Mar, you will find WaterWorld. This is a large water park with many attractions and spectacular slides. You can even go bungee jumping here! A little bit closer there is Aquadiver (29 km), a fun water park where you can easily spend an entire day. Or visit PP’s Park (30 km), a theme park in Platja d’Aro.
