Wonderful beach holiday on a sun-drenched island

The Croatian island of Pag is the ideal destination for a peaceful and family-friendly camping experience, and this is where you will find Terra Park Phalaris. This large campsite has everything for a comfortable stay. You will be camping directly by the sea and will have access to a private beach with sun loungers, parasols and beach showers. The sunny island will guarantee you a Mediterranean atmosphere.

Many hours of sunshine

Pag is renowned for its large number of sunshine hours, and you can enjoy these to the full on the beach at Terra Park Phalaris. Fortunately there are also plenty of palm parasols to give you some shade. The beach is made up of pebbles so be sure to bring a sturdy mat or use one of the sun loungers. The sea stays shallow here for a long way out, so it’s a great place for children to enjoy the water.

Bouncy castle in the water

If the shallow water does not offer enough fun, there is also a large inflatable castle in the water. After all the fun in the sea, you can rinse off the salty water at the beach showers. Your dog is also allowed to go into the water at a specially designated stretch of beach. You can try out all kinds of water sports on and near the campsite. Snorkelling, diving, SUP, water skiing... You can rent boats at the campsite or bring your own boat. The campsite has its own landing stage.

Communal barbecuing

Keen swimmers may also want something different at times and this has been thought about at Terra Park Phalaris. Your children can have fun in the playground and all kinds of activities are organised for young people during the high season. You can keep track of your condition in the fitness room or on the multi-sports field. You can make friends at the communal barbecue area with large tables in the shade, or enjoy the wonderful aromas and flavours in the restaurant. You can enjoy tasty Mediterranean dishes here with views of the sea.

Olive trees and sheep

The island of Pag stretches out lengthwise from the Croatian mainland and has many beaches and small bays. The island is rocky and barren, and in some places it looks like a moonscape, with the white of the chalk and the white of the sheep. Pag has only a few trees, except for extensive ancient olive groves on the north side of the island where you can go for lovely walks.
The island is also known for its many salt flats. Olive oil and sheep cheese are most important products on the island. Pay a visit a cheese farm and sample the typical salty taste of the cheese, or delve into the tradition of lace making. Older ladies on the island in particular are still engaged in this activity. You can buy the result in the souvenir shops you encounter along the way on your explorations.
